The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas was redesigned earlier this year, introducing a new powertrain along with a range of improvements both inside and out. We also know more about the 2024 Atlas pricing and lineup. The new Atlas will be offered in four versions starting at $49,995, each boasting an array of new features and improvements.
Now solely powered by a turbocharged, direct-injection, four-cylinder TSI® engine, it offers 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, with an eight-speed automatic transmission and Volkswagen's 4MOTION® all-wheel-drive system as standard across all models. The new Atlas is therefore more efficient and more powerful than the previous V6-powered Atlas model, while still offering 5,000 pounds of towing capacity.
Premium materials throughout the cabin, a leatherette-trimmed soft-touch dash, and a revamped center console create an upscale cockpit in the Atlas. Innovative backlit dash décor, ambient lighting with 30 color choices, and quilted leather seats with a diamond stitch pattern in top-tier models elevate the cabin's aesthetic appeal. The new Atlas is more refined than ever, and it features a range of luxury features that will enhance your comfort every single day.
